The North East (North Directorate) is one of the key development areas of the EIS network.

Peter Elliott's team are beginning to work closely with elite swimming and boxing as well as athletics and sports acrobatics, offering a range of services including physiology and physiotherapy. In addition they are focusing on talent identification across a number of different sports.
