The Yorkshire region is based at the English Institute of Sport in Sheffield (North Directorate) which provides a base for athletes across a range of sports including athletics, badminton, netball, judo, boxing, basketball, table tennis and snooker, as well as hosting a number of major training camps and sporting events.

The Yorkshire team works with over 20 sports including a number of disability and paralympic sports. The region leads on EIS support to Basketball, Boccia, Boxing, Disability Table Tennis, Diving, Handball, Judo, VI Judo, Rugby League, Volleyball, weightlifting and power lifting.
