STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH (working with GB Badminton)
Based at the National Badminton Centre, Milton Keynes
Salary: Level 1 £17,560 - £24,499 p.a. pro rata
Level 2 £24,500 p.a. pro rata.
Salary & level are dependant on skills and experience
Hours: 18.5 hours per week
Your role:
The post holder will contribute to the achievement of the aims and objectives of the English Institute of Sport and GB Badminton through:
• The delivery and development of strength and conditioning services for the World Class Programme athletes at the National Badminton Centre.
• To focus on delivery and implementation of the Strength and Conditioning sessions in co-ordination with the Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach (working with GB Badminton).
• Working with the East Regional team and other regional network points to create a world class high performance training environment
You should have:
• A qualification at degree level (or equivalent) in sports science or related area specialising in the area of physical preparation of elite athletes
• UK Strength and Conditioning Association (UKSCA) Accreditation
• Considerable experience in the provision of strength and conditioning services to athletes and coaches to improve performance. This experience should include work with national teams and their athletes
