PHYSIOTHERAPIST (working with GB Boxing)
Based at EIS, Sheffield
Salary: £26,500 - £31,000 p.a
Hours: 37 hours per week
This is a fixed term contract until 31 December 2013.
Your role:
The post holder will contribute to the achievement of the aims and objectives of the English Institute of Sport through:
• The delivery and development of the physiotherapy service for World Class Programme athletes in the Region in conjunction with GB Boxing staff
• The delivery of the physiotherapy service from identified locations and at training venues and camps around the country
• Engaging with existing practitioners and support staff in Boxing to continue the World Class high performance training and clinical environment
You should have:
• A qualification at degree level (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy
• Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC)
• Considerable experience in the provision of physiotherapy services to athletes and coaches which should include work with high performance teams or squads
