Advice To Raise Your Game

by James Skitt - 28.01.09

English Institute of Sport (EIS) Sports Psychologist Dr Ben Chell has given tips on dealing with nerves in an interview for the BBC Wales ‘Raise Your Game’ website.

Many athletes right through from Olympic to grassroots level would probably admit to feeling nervous ahead of competition and Chell, Lead Psychologist for the GBR Olympic Sailing team, has offered advice on dealing with these situations, which he insists are simply ‘our normal response to stressful situations’.

The ‘Raise Your Game’ initiative, fronted by Colin Jackson, aims to inspire and motivate people from all walks of life through the experiences of sportsmen and women.
