EAST
The East team works out of four bases in the region comprising of the National Badminton Centre (Milton Keynes), Hertfordshire Sports Village (Hatfield), the Lays School (Cambridge) and the Lakenham Sports and Tennis Centre (Norwich), making access to EIS services easier for World Class Athletes across the 5,500 square miles that make up the six counties in East Anglia.
Athletes have access to strength and conditioning, sports medicine, physiotherapy, performance lifestyle and psychology support (as negotiated by their sport's national governing body), as well as nutrition and physiology at certain venues. Medical services are provided out of Milton Keynes and Cambridge.
Managed by Tim Newenham, the East region leads on EIS support to Badminton, Disability Shooting and Golf.
