The North West team lead on EIS support to Cycling
NORTH WEST
The EIS North West team is based within the National Squash Centre at the heart of Manchester's Sportscity, a legacy from the 2002 Commonwealth Games.
Staff from more than ten disciplines provide sports science and medicine support to world class athletes in over 25 Olympic and Paralympic sports.
Managed by Dr Kevin Thompson, the region leads on EIS support to Cycling, Disability Swimming, Squash and Wrestling and provides a range of services from satellite sites at the Manchester Aquatics Centre, Manchester Velodrome and Liverpool John Moores University.
