WEST MIDLANDS
Services in the West Midlands are based at Birmingham High Performance Centre at Alexander Stadium and from Lilleshall National Sports Centre in Newport, Shropshire.
World Class athletes from over 25 Olympic and Paralympic sports are supported within the region, which leads on EIS support to Archery, Athletics, Disability Athletics, Equestrian, Gymnastics, Table Tennis and Wheelchair Basketball.
Particular strengths exist in medicine, physiotherapy, soft tissue therapy, strenght and conditioning, biomechanics and performance lifestyle.
The range of sports, applied and integrated relations with other practitioners, athletes and coaches and the differing natures of its 2 key sites, allows EIS West Midlands to pursue excellent opporunities for staff to work in learning and developing environment.
