Travel to Tokyo: 2020 for 2020 second phase begins

The second and final phase of EIS fundraising initiative Travel to Tokyo: 2020 for 2020 is being held throughout May.

EIS Employees at sites in the West Midlands kicked-off this ambitious fundraising initiative last year in order to raise money for Claire House Children’s Hospice.

18 members of staff from Lilleshall and Birmingham are taking part in the challenge to collectively cover 2020 kilometres before the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games.

So far 1,055km have been covered collectively by staff with 965km left to go with almost £1000 raised (at time of publication).

Claire House Children’s Hospice, a charity which helps seriously and terminally ill children has a place close to EIS hearts after providing support to EIS Head of Biomechanics Paul Worsfold and his family.
