Elite Development Programme Strength & Conditioning Coach (working with GB Hockey)
This role will provide the delivery and development of strength and conditioning services to the Great Britain Elite Development Programme (GB EDP), working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to create a world class high performance training environment. There will also be a set number of days each year to be spent with the World Class programme to assist in alignment between the GB EDP and senior programmes. In addition to this there may be a set number of days each year with National age group squads (U18 athletes)
As a software developer working as part of the Sport Intelligence team, you will play an integral role in the development of new features, the enhancement and integration of existing systems along with creating new products. This is a new role within the team and offers the opportunity to be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle including planning, design, development and delivery of software solutions utilised by the UK’s high-performance sport system.
MSc Professional Practice (Sports Performance Analysis) Studentship
The EIS, in partnership with Cardiff Metropolitan University and England Hockey is offering an exciting MSc Studentship opportunity to a dynamic, self-motivated individual committed to a career in Performance Analysis. Alongside their studies on the MSc Professional Practice (Sport Performance Analysis) postgraduate course, the successful candidate will engage in an industrial placement with England Hockey, spending time learning alongside EIS Performance Analysis practitioners within the World class programme.

Although it is not routine practice for EIS to offer work experience opportunities, in occasional circumstances where there is a lull in the sports calendar or there is some availability of suitable support, EIS has been able to provide short work experience placements for PhD and MSc level students providing there is a clear link to their course of study.
